Subject:           Update to the Staffing Section of the HR Handbook

 

Issue Date:       November 26, 2007

 

 

This is to advise agencies that the Hiring Employees section of the HR Handbook has been updated.

 

The new Staffing Considerations replaces the previous Hiring Employees.  While no major changes have been made to the content of this material, there have been some significant revisions to its organization.  The electronic version of Staffing Considerations has links to important information such as Civil Service rules and specific pages on our website.  Also, the Table of Contents is a series of clickable links to the information within the document.

 

REASON FOR THE CHANGE:  The title of the document was changed to match the portion of the HR Curriculum taught by the Staffing Division, Module 2: Staffing Considerations.  The organization of the material was changed to facilitate the usage of the material.
