Subject:            Civil Service honored by IPMA-HR Louisiana Chapter

The Louisiana Chapter of IPMA-HR recently honored the Louisiana Department of State Civil Service with the 2006/2007 Achievement Award for Communication and Employee Relations.  The Chapter made the award to DSCS for its ISIS-HR Quick Tips on-line newsletter.  Introduced in May 2006, ISIS-HR Quick Tips provides human resource professionals in state agencies with information to help them more effectively utilize their personnel/payroll record system.

 

The award was accepted on behalf of the Department of State Civil Service by Ashley Gautreaux, Assistant Administrator of the Program Assistance Division, at the IPMA-HR Louisiana Chapter Annual conference held in Lafayette.  Ashley conceived and developed the ISIS-HR Quick Tips newsletter and continues to oversee its production.   Current and archived issues of ISIS-HR Quick Tips are available on the HRInfo website which is provided to state human resource personnel by the Department of State Civil Service.
