Subject: Agency and Statewide Workforce Profiles

On March 30, 2007 the Department of Civil Service mailed Agency Workforce Profiles to individual state agencies consisting of a snapshot of each agency workforce as of the end of December 2006. These profiles can be used as a starting point in developing a workforce plan for your agency. Each profile breaks down an agency workforce by EEO-4 job category and for each category, summarizes data such as number of employees, average age of employees, number of employees who retired last year, number of employees eligible to retire but not in DROP, number of employees currently in DROP and number of employees eligible to retire within five years.
Agencies may request more detailed breakdowns for each
category such as listing names of employees eligible to retire within five
years, names of employees currently in DROP, etc. by contacting
