Certificates
and SF2 Certificate Requests:
SF2's
for vacancies that must be posted to Job Search -- that is, for jobs on
the State announcement schedule being filled as probational or job appointments
from these three exams -- must be received by Thursday, June 2, 2005. Friday, June 3, 2005 is the last date
that Civil Service will post any jobs on series 1333, 1700 or 5000 to Job
Search. These postings must close
by Saturday, June 11, 2005 in order for us to be able to issue certificates on
Friday, June 17th.
SF2's
for routine certificate issue -- that is, for jobs on the Continuous schedule,
or for competitive-level jobs on the State announcement schedule from these
three exams -- must be received by Thursday, June 16, 2005. The last date that Civil Service will
issue certificates for series 1333, 1700 and 5000 is Friday, June 17,
2005.
Already
issued certificates for these three series will be valid until Monday, July
18th, 2005. Requests for extension
past this date in special circumstances may be submitted to the Staffing
Division.
Certifiable
Score Authority:
Agencies
may post jobs in these three series for certifiable score appointment from the
older scores through Friday, June 17, 2005.
Certifiable
score appointments from series 1333, 1700 and 5000 will be honored through
Monday, July 18, 2005.
Direct
Hire Authority:
Agencies
with Direct Hire agreements for jobs on these three series may post vacancies to
Job Search through Friday, June 17th.
Direct
Hire appointments from series 1333, 1700 and 5000 will be honored through
Monday, July 18, 2005.
Posting
restriction:
No jobs
in these three series may be posted to Job Search during the last two weeks of
June. During this time, Civil Service will
be converting the old scores to the new percentile format, while applicants who
take these exams after June 17th will be waiting to receive their new scores.
Civil
Service will monitor Job Search and close any such postings created during these
two weeks. Agencies may begin
posting vacancies using the QUEST hiring model beginning Tuesday, July 5,
2005.
Thursday,
June 2, 2005 - last date for agencies to submit SF2 requests for Job Search
postings by Civil Service.
Friday,
June 3, 2005 - last date for Civil Service to post any jobs in 1333, 1700 or
5000 (Special or Promotional Posting).
Saturday,
June 11, 2005 - last date anyone may take these exams and receive the old
scores.
Thursday,
June 16, 2005 - last date to submit SF2 requests for jobs on the Continuous
announcement schedule.
Friday,
June 17, 2005 - last date for Civil Service to issue scores and certificates for
series 1333, 1700 and 5000.
Sunday,
June 19 through Monday, July 4, 2005 -- NO JOB SEARCH POSTING FOR ANY OF THESE
JOBS.
Friday,
June 24, 2005 - anticipated date to issue new percentile scores under series
7333 (PET), 7500 (LEAPS) and 7700 (LEAPS Supervisor).
Tuesday,
July 5, 2005 - Agencies begin using the QUEST model to hire from series 7333,
7500 and 7700.
Monday,
July 18, 2005 - Last date for appointments from series 1333, 1700 and 5000,
whether the authority is certifiable score, Direct Hire certificate created by
the agency, or Civil Service-issued certificates.
